We have a huge selection of US
domestic species available in several forms such as normal sidegrain,
endgrain, and natural edged blanks. We process sizes anywhere from
5" diameter and 2" thick up through 48" or larger diameter
pieces. What it comes down to is this ... whatever we can find in
the woods is what we can deliver to you. Special requests and custom
sizes are always welcome here at Hilton Handcraft of the Ozarks.

Platters |
|
Platter blanks are not always easy to
come buy, are they? Well, we have loads of them to choose
from! We keep these wood platter blanks down to 3" thick or
less and any diameter size you could ever want. Want to make a
flying disk (aka "frizbee") out of it instead? That's ok
with us. We won't tell anyone.

Large Blocks |

Lots of hollowforms being made these
days. We see them everywhere and there's a lot of beautiful stuff
out there. Do you want a try for yourself? Well, we probably
have exactly what you're looking for then. Spalted woods make
fantastic hollowforms. You can see those dark lines streaking right
up the sides! We have and can make for you any size

Billets |
|
Chair and table legs, candlesticks,
canes and ballusters all come from Billets. That's just a fancy word
for a long, square sectioned piece of wood. Boy, do we have some
great stuff for you! These are all dried (most are kiln dried)
pieces in large sizes. Let's repeat that again, these are all DRIED
and LARGE sized. Up to 4 feet (4') in length and 4 inches (4")
in the square thickness. Sure, we can cut them down for smaller
billets and we're happy to do it. The Ash billets are fantastic for
bat blanks. But, if you've gotten that special consignment to make a
reproduction leg of a massive table or even just repairing Grandma's
corner table in the kitchen, we have solid pieces of wood dried and ready
to be turned, carved or bandsawn without seams or laminations. It'll
look absolutely beautiful. From Cedar to Ash or Walnut to Red Oak
(YES, 4" thick x 4" thick Red Oak Billets!) and some Cherry and
Kentucky Coffee Tree as well, we have all kinds of woods in Billet form to
serve your needs.
