Architectural Turning

 

We specialize in architectural & furniture woodturning here at Hilton Handcraft of the Ozarks.  It's not as glamorous as the art pieces we create but it's just as challenging and rewarding.  We make several common styles of each of the following types of architectural and furniture pieces but we can just as well custom design or follow your own designs to create what you need quickly and competitively priced.

All of our Windsors, Ladderbacks and traditional pieces of furniture are made in the same way ... with the same tools, procedures and asthetics as the original period ones were made!  We believe that how something is made is just as important as the final outcome.  Repairs and replacement spindles or other components can be made both in contemporary fashion (ie modern tools) and in the traditional ways.  Prices and time to make them vary between the two ways, of course.
